Sledding Game: Chaotic winter sports multiplayer gem finally getting a demo

Like many people, even if they refuse to admit it in polite society, I am no stranger to doom-scrolling on TikTok when my mind shuts off, but my thumb keeps moving. It was during one of those doom-scrolling hours when I first encountered an indie game that I have been waiting for: Sledding Game.

Developed by The Sledding Corporation, otherwise known as a solo dev called Max, Sledding Game is a multiplayer invitation to utter chaos and hilarity on the side of a mountain, and I’ve been obsessed with this chunky little frog (and his butt) ever since that very first TikTok improved my life just a little bit.

And now, on September 26, 2025, the first-ever multiplayer demo of Sledding Game is coming to Steam.

Dashing through the snow, on a one-crittered, wobbly sled

The premise of Sledding Game is simple: multiplayer chaos with proximity chat and endless scope for ragdoll-physics-aided hilarity. You’re an adorably plump animal, and points you earn can be spent on customization to make you stand out from the crowd of possible players in a lobby at any time. 

While the main draw of Sledding Game is definitely the downhill slope towards disastrous yet hilarious crashes, there are a lot of other things to do as well. From the many, many videos I’ve seen on social media, you’ll be able to:

• Buy blind bags

• Gamble

• Roast s'mores and drink hot cocoa

• Make snowmen

• Play darts and curling

And that’s just what we already know. There’s probably a lot more secret things waiting to be found, if you can tear yourself away from the slopes for long enough to find them. 

Oh, and there’s a yeti who kicks you back onto the slope if you wander too far. Honestly, I can think of more subtle ways to tell you that you’ve wandered out of bounds, but I just know that I’m going to take myself off on a little walk just to encounter the yeti for myself.

Sledding Game’s demo will be released at some point on September 26, 2025. It’s definitely a game that’s best experienced socially, and you’ll be able to join private or public servers to experience the chaos to its full capacity.
